I have an Asus laptop model K84L I've had for a few years and the hard drive died a while back. I bought a new hard drive and installed Windows Vista on it. The laptop originally had Windows 7 on it, but I only had a Vista disk from a former laptop. I am missing a few drivers on it that is necessary for internet connection. I'm missing my ethernet, network controller, PCI simple communications controller and an SM bus controller. I've been searching the internet on a borrowed computer for these missing drivers and I can't find any that are compatable with my model and for vista. I've done this procedure many times a couple years ago and was able to find everything okay, but now it just seems really obscure to come across the right ones. If anyone could give me links that will help me find these drivers, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

~ Edit ~
I am also wanting to connect to the internet wirelessly, if that's needed additional information.

The Asus website is the correct place to get drivers for an Asus laptop, but they do not support Windows Vista on that model, only Windows 7 or Windows 8, as you'll see here: http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=3&m=K84L

Whilst you could search for weeks looking for drivers that might work, it's just easier to make sure you install a supported version of Windows.
