What AA for my res?

So i have a KTC 1440x900 monitor and am getting gtx 770 msi twin frozr what aa setting for this monitor?

Highest available in the games your playing as 1440x900 on that card is overkill not that its a bad thing

It varies completely by the game. The Anti-Aliasing setting is just one setting among many.

On average, probably about 8xAA. Just get FRAPS and monitor your frame rate while you adjust the settings. You may want to read some Tweaking Guides as well.

I highly recommend that palit one I currently have a palit 780 with what I imagine will be around about the same cooler and the cooler alone sells it. it operate so cool and its really quiet in doing so also I believe they have alot of headroom for personal overclocks if you are interested in doing so but I do not believe it will be require I think you can make this purchase and be very happy with your choice

... plus it looks awesome!

You should be fine at 8x at that resolution.

There is very little difference from 4x to 8x, even at 900p. I played at that resolution for quite a while.

Your GTX 770 will handle 8x in most games, but the first thing you should do if you don't get satisfactory performance in some games is drop it to 4x.

And of course, in most deferred rendering engines you'll still be limited to SMAA, FXAA, MLAA, AAA, etc, rather than SSAA, SGSSAA, CSAA, or MSAA.

only aa that works is super sampling, if the game do not support it do not use,
you could also google those people that found a way to render the game in 4k then let the monitor scale it to native ress.

Yes there performance alone are pretty unmatched at price to performance but also there cooling is as good as any of the top gpu coolers out there.
