Hello,

I'm having strange problems with a PC i just built.

It won't turn on if the VGA monitor cable is connected to the mobo (with or without a monitor on the other end) yet if i plug the cable in after the PC has booted it's usable.

When I come to shut it down, if i have the VGA cable plugged in it reboots itself immediately after shutting down (ie. the fans stop and then start again with half a second) - it doesn't do this is the VGA cable is pulled out first.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

The (relevant) components i'm using are:

Gigabyte SKT-1155 B75M-D3V motherboard
Crucial Ballistix 4GB BLS4G3D
Intel Celeron G1260
Be Quiet Pure Power L8 300W 80+ PSU

Thanks for any help you can give, it's driving me nuts!

Your VGA Cable Went Wrong, If you wanna to borrow my VGA from me, Ask me, Or You wanna to press the Power Button for 5 seconds, Check the mistake you made, and I will repair for you, If My repairs don't help, Please buy a new VGA, I think that mine has VGA that do boot and shutdown, I have the EGA on my monitor, Do you have the EGA or CGA or VGA or HGA or nothing?
