Twin fan CPU coolers vs 1 CPU fan header....

Hi all.

When I buy my liquid CPU cooler I expect it'll be one with twin radiator fans. But my motherboard only has one CPU fan header. I've read around and some people say 'use a splitter' while others say 'no not a good idea, fan headers are only designed to power one fan'.

I really don't want the CPU fans running at different speeds - please can anyone suggest the best way to solve this?

Thanks in advance

The CPU cooler comes with the pwm splitter to do so. You wont be harming anything. It allows them to both be controlled by the motherboard. You won't damage anything. I have it set up like that. Plus, if it was bad, then why would every brand out there tell people to do so? So whoever told you that it's bad, they are wrong.

Hi Wallaby

This is exactly what I wanted to hear. After seeing your post I checked out a couple of unboxing vids online and yep, they do indeed come with splitters. That's good enough for me!

Thanks for your responses guys sorry about the delay.
