Is the Gigabyte r9 280x REV2 a safe and stable graphics card ?

Well, the R9 280X cards are known to have artifact issues. As far as I know, Sapphire R9 280X Vapor-X is the only card that doesn't have such issues. Looking at the reviews on Newegg, this card seems to be running a lot hotter when under load.
