Just wondering if this computer http:// will be able to manage 1440p on the most recent games at highest settings?

Yes it will. I can play most of my games on highest setting at 5760x1200 with a GTX 780 Ti and keep 40-60fps, so 1440p should be around 60-80+ fps.

If you have that much money to spend.. I'd seriously consider building it yourself. You could likely squeeze in two 780 Tis in that budget.

Okay cool, but one thing I noticed from your specs is that you OC'd your CPU, I wouldn't do that I would just run it on Turbo setting which I think gets 3.9Ghz (not exactly sure), so I guess just a little less than 60-80~. Thanks for the answer.

Yeah I am not buying this exact model I might just wait until Q4 to see about 8xx series, but these are the lowest specs I would want in my PC right now. Just wanted to know if these specs would be competent at running 1440p.

the i7 4770k is pretty much the best CPU you can get for gaming... and the GTX 780 Ti is pretty much the best single GPU you can get as well... Most games won't be limited by the CPU so the OC shouldn't effect your FPS much if any.
