It is possible - but not generally reccomended.

The average power draw of a computer is generally not equal to the sum of the power draw of all components. In order to reach the 371W listed - all components would need to be drawing their maximum wattage - and that is done by doing everything you can at the same time.

This being said it is possible to boot and opperate your PC - but you would be living on the edge of the listed rating of the PSU and the draw of your system. If you step over that line - you might overload your PSU and have an impromptu shutdown.

I generally want some head room in these areas - so a solid brand Tier 2 or Tier 1 PSU (search PSU Tier on Toms) with around 400-450W would be where I would go.

Good luck.

PS - just saw the note about an Old PSU from Dad's computer. First - Dad bought cheep stuff - so the brand is not good. Also Age affects PSUs and it may not be up to the task of it's listed rating.
