I am building a new PC

Solution

No it will not. They are different sockets. If you have that board, get a Xeon 1230v2. It will perform similar to an i7 3770. If you want to overclock, you would need a different motherboard like a Z97 extreme4 to use a 4770k.

Yes it should, but my advice as you are using a top of the line cpu, is to get a premium motherboard from asus, msi or intel. Gigabyte is better for budget builds when you are very limited in options due to money.
Here's a couple of mobo's I recommend:
No reason not to get a good motherboard when you're getting an i7 4770k

first the haswell(4xxx cpus) are supported by only 8 or 9 series intel board (z87/97 for a ulocked 'k' cpu for o.c. support)

the best for you wud b choosing 9 series z97 board for the reason that u can further upgrade to haswell refresh cpus coming out 2015

so get a z97 board with the best for ur budget
