Which is better, AMD Radeon HD R9 270 2GB GDDR5 or Nvidia 4GB GE Force GT640? I'm worried about the 2GB on the Radeon?

R9 270 is the best. GT640 is not even close to the performance of the R9 270.
Also 4GB vs 2GB won't make much difference regarding those cards.

I find that Nvidia are a bit better for video editing however I would always go for AMD for gaming but as Computersloeber said, the 270 is vastly better than the 640
