I am building a new computer Here are my specs i3 dual core 3.5ghz 16 gigs memory 550 watt power supply nvidia geforce gt220

My question:Will I have a problem with the graphics card?

Solution
Will My PC Run FSX?

Microsoft's Official system requirements:
* Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista
* Processor: 1.0 Ghz
* RAM: Windows XP SP2 - 256MB, Windows Vista – 512MB
* Hard Drive: 14GB
* Video Card: 32MB DirectX 9 compatible
* Other: DX9 hardware compatibility and audio board with speakers and/or headphones
* Online/Multiplayer Requirements: 56.6 kbps or better for online play

Realistic requirements for optimal gameplay
Yup, the "minimum system requirements" listed on the FSX package are pure rubbish though Microsoft and the FSX developers state otherwise. The truth is you will need at MINIMUM:

3GHz CPU with good cooling.

80 gig Hard Drive (15 gig for FSX and then when you start adding Addons, your HD space gets used up quickly)...
If you are talking about compatibility problem then you will able to run that card with your build if your motherboard has a GraphicsCard/PCIe slot. Honestly your build is overkill for Gt 220

If you are talking about performance then GT 220 is a low-end card and you wont get much benefit from it since it is only a bit better than Integrated GPU of i3

What is your budget for Graphics Card? Which power supply do you have?

My motherboard has 2 pci express expansion slots.My power supply is a turbo-x 550watt,right now there is no budget for a graphics card.What it will be used for is Microsoft flight simX

Unfortunately your PSU is bit low-end too

Maximum you can get without changing that PSU would be GTX 750 Ti
Edit: For Flight Simulator X you can get along with it but not at high settings all due to a weak GPU. For maxing SimX you will need a card like GT 280

I will be using the system for Microsoft flight sim X

No.

But... a GT220 is not much stronger than the i3 integrated graphics.
If you are not playing fast action games, just use integrated graphics.

A gaming graphics card will start at about $100. A good quality 550w psu can handle a card as good as a GTX760.

256MB Graphic Card with good cooling that supports Shader, advanced 3D graphics and at minimum, Direct X 9.

Windows XP SP2 or Windows VISTA.

A quality Sound Card.

Plenty of chassis cooling.

These, again, are MINIMUM specs. With FSX, more is always better, so go as bold as you can afford.
