Try cleaning unwanted stuff with something like CCleaner. NFS rivals is just another very poorly optimized port(like bf4 was in the start..and still is not so much though)so you could end up waiting for patches to fix optimization.

Just because the game uses the same engine as another does not mean it will perform the same. Developers will utilize the same game engine for years, just increasing the complexity of the 3d models and the shaders and lighting effects used, meaning you will need more powerful hardware to run the games. Also the code running Battlefield 3 may be much more efficient than NFS.

Your PC is pretty low powered and just barely meets the minimum requirements for the game (your GT 630 The 8800 GT that is recommended.) You may want to consider upgrading your graphics card. A GTX 750 or 750 TI would give you a very good performance boost and will only run you a little over $100.

Fry's has a EVGA 750 superclocked for $99 this weekend. Get it and I bet you will be much happier with the performance of the game.
