Hey guys, i'm currently using a samsung 840 evo 128GB, and i currently only have 10GB free space. Im a gamer, so i have 3dmark, league of legends, bf3, mirrors edge, dead space 3, burnout paradise and need for speed pro street, so you can see what is taking space haha.
I just wanted to know if only having this 10GB or even less sometimes makes my SSD slower? Should i move 1 or 2 games to my HDD?
Thanks guys ;)

Solution
Yes, your ssd will slow down.
It takes longer to manage the free space and find unused blocks.
In addition, you are losing endurance with a higher rate of nand updates.
On my computer, you should see the capacity numbers in red when you get 90% full.

If budget permits, clone your 120gb ssd to a new 240gb ssd and sell the old.
Otherwise, yes, move some larger files such as video or games to the hard drive.

Hey thanks, Im using less than 90%.
I care more about performance, so, if i dont have any noticiable decreasse in performance i dont care if i have small amount of free space. The lifespan doesn't bother me much cause i paid for a 128GB SSD and i want to use it all, not just 50%. But if ur saying that i will get huge performance decrease than i will get more free space! So i get huge or not noticiable performance decrease? Thanks.
