I had this old Huawei dongle which worked like clockwork I could surf the next and play games. But since I got this new replacement (because the other one broke) the ZTE MF730M it won't let me play games such League of Legends, Warthunder,Halo CE, Roblox, Unturned 2, Tactical Intervention and Warface. But there was 2 games which I able to play, minecraft and urban terror 42. I have tried disabling firewall and antivirus and such, so don't ask me to do that. Also I cannot play browser games called Contract Wars and CS Portable.

Remember I could play EVERYTHING with the old one and now the new wont let me connect to game servers. I'm able to surf the net everywhere apart from a few unity MMO FPS browser games. I've tried the new dongle on both of my laptops it's exactly the same, I can play the exact same games everything on both my laptops and it's the same problem so I'm certain it's something to do with the dongle. Usually the error message would be Lost Connection or No Connection that type of thing. I am able to play the game for like 5 to 10 seconds before I disconect.

Dongle specs: ZTE MF730M

Software Version WEB_H3GGBRMF730MV1.0.0B06
Firmware Version BD_MF730MHDV1.0.0B07
Hardware Version MF730M-1.0.0

Solution
Ok. ISP is internet service provider.

So contact your cellular provider to see if they have anything to do with this.

Simply put, most users use cellular internet for web browsing so some providers may have cut out other features.

1. Coming on here telling us about your cracked games is frowned upon. Please refrain from this in the future.
2. You may have to contact your ISP, maybe they only allow certain ports to connect(games and web traffic do not use the same ports). Certain protocols may also not be supported.

I think you will have to iron all this out with your ISP.

it was a misclick sorry. but the huawei dongle was with the same provider H3G. but i pyhisically damaged that and they sent a new ZTE MF730M as a replacement and now this problem occured.. i have sent a complaint to H3G and i am waiting for their reply. i fear that there's a setting enabled on my dongle that is preventing me from playing. if it is possible, can you skype me and screen share, i will type in my the ip thing in the address and maybe you could help me? I would very much apprechiate it.

Unfortunately, Users here do not tend to remote access peoples systems or screen share.

Since Three provides the 3G USB modem, they would be the first ones to contact.

As an example in my area out cable provider supplies us with(ok we rent) cable boxes from Motorola. Now MANY features(usb/firewire/network port/cable card slot/ect) on the boxes are disabled. Motorola can not do anything about this because each provider loads up software on the box to only allow the features they want(so in this case TV watching in SD and HD over composite/component/DVI/HDMI analog and digital audio is also enabled).

So for this reason, I think Three will be best able to get this resolved.

But i had the same contract on both of my dongle huawei and zte. so why would they change anything in the software, which is now causing me problems? And if I ask are they able to enable gaming on my dongle then?
