Hello,

I have only recently joined so forgive me if I have asked this in the wrong place but I was wondering whether my motherboard which is a Gigabyte F2A55M-HD2 is compatible with most graphics cards. I am looking to upgrade my graphics as I only have integrated graphics right now.

Thanks.

Yes, you have a PCI-E 2 slot which will work with any PCI-E GPU, the big thing will be to ensure your PSU has enough power for the GPU

Also, sorry for not selecting this as the best answer it was the best but I can't change it now. My PSU is 500 watt so I should be OK for a graphics card.

As for the make of the power supply, I am unsure however I will check and look it up before buying a GPU to make sure it is a good one. Again, as for which GPU I will get I will decide nearer the time depending on my budget. Thanks for the great help!
