I hate 7. And my computer is running horribly since I upgraded. I went to see about reverting back to xp, but it says it can't be done without more hard drive space than I have internally. I have an external 1TB drive. Can I use that somehow to return to XP?

You should not use Windows XP, it is no longer supported by Microsoft. As such, you will not be protected from any malware or security exploits that may come up.

The issue probably is that your computer is too old for the minimum specs for Windows 7, and what you should be doing is probably looking for a new computer.

The reality of technology, and of life in general, is that humans like regardless of whether it is a step in the right or wrong direction, and sooner or later you will have to update your technology otherwise it will become unusable.

If you REALLY wanted to install XP, you would have to find an original install disc for XP to install on a clean HDD. External HDDs usually are not capable of this.

In that case, then how do I install a larger hard drive so I can move it back to XP? (I know it's not being supported anymore, but I really can't afford new computers right now. I could manage a bigger hard drive, and maybe more memory, if I knew how.) Thank you. Verlie

You should acquire a Windows XP install disc before proceeding further. Do you have one?
