So i am trying to decide on what gaming laptop is the best for me, but i am having trouble and was wondering if this setup will be able to run games for years to come
4th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-4710MQ Processor
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 860M graphics with 2GB total GDDR5
16GB DDR3L at 1600MHz (2 x 8G)
1TB 5400 + 80 mSATA HDD

Solution
Truth be told, no laptop will run games for years to come.

Even the absolute best laptop cards, like a GTX 880m, really perform like a desktop GTX 760.
That GTX 860m will perform like a GTX 650 TI.

If you want to run games at high settings for more than a year or two, you'll need a desktop.

That is entirely true. I speak from experience from several laptops. The graphics in a laptop are no where near as strong as a desktop computer so they are outdated quickly.
