Hi, I just recently built a PC and have been using integrated graphics until today. I purchased an XFX R9 270 and installed it. Upon starting the computer, the power button is on but the monitor is blank. I cannot enter bios and holding the power button/pressing the reset button does not power off the computer. All the fans are on including the GPU's.

I removed the GPU, booted the computer, and removed the AMD Catalyst drivers (A10 6800k with Radeon HD 8670 integrated graphics). I once again installed the GPU and got the same result. After removing the GPU again, the computer boots, but oddly the mouse and keyboard do not work at the win7 login screen. I'm unsure what to do at this point.

AMD A10 6800k
MSI A78M-E35 MOBO
EVGA 650W PSU
Hitachi 1TB HDD
Kingston 8GB RAM

I'm pretty sure when I uninstalled the catalyst drivers the chipset was uninstalled as well, hence the KB/M not working. I'm gong to do a fresh install of win7 and see if that fixes it. Thanks for your help!
