Hi,

I'm looking into buying a gaming PC with the potential for R9 290 cross fire.
I was wondering if 750w would be enough to run this and what are the pros and cons of cross fire? Also I plan on getting the 2nd card in the future not now.

Thanks heaps in advance!
Chris

For a pc with two r9 290's in crossfire you'd need a power supply that could deliver 31A to each of them and 1000W minimum.

Pick something from TIer One - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su... eg Corsair AX1200, EVGA 1000W Supernova

What if I was to go with R9 280x Crossfire instead? Thanks for the reply.
