I also left room for peripherals, but that's personal preference so you can choose those.

if you're planning to stream in 1080p no i5 will manage. crysis eats up quad cores... especially streaming. That said... i think the above two posters are underestimating crysis3... crysis3 can't be maxed with anything short of a xfire/sli setup... well... that's not true... a 6 core i7 + a 780ti or titan with a solid overclock will best 60fps.

this will crush crysis 3

though it's way out of your price range.

not really you just have to use gtx 780 hardware acceleration(trough geforce experience) and it will barely affect the cpu and barely affect the video card and save a ton of $ in the process to spend a $1000 more would make zero sense 780 will handle crysis no problem while streaming and going xrossfire is not good it is best to avoid dual cards if anything it would be better to get 780 ti before going dual cards. Also i believe he said close to 1600 budget so i dont think $2440 would qualify as close to budget.

i think you're looking at benches that have "adjusted" graphics settings. there are almost no recent benches with crysis 3 that show true "very high" quality settings. if you turn a few things down, then yes, your build and the other build will hit 60fps... especially with a bit of an overclock on the cpu.

most 1080p very high graphic setting benches are with AA being set to x2, and shadow quality set to medium... which is not truly "maxed out"

when crysis 3 is fully maxed out on anything short of an i7 of fx8 core (both heavily overclocked) and an SLi'ed/xfired gpu setup will fall short of 60fps; now you can save some cash, and drop down to a SLi 770 or r9-280x setup... both will manage. But no single gpu will do it with all the graphic goodies turned on full.
