Hi I needed some help building a day trading desktop. here is what I would like to do:

1. run 4 monitors to start and maybe upgrade to 6 later.
2. I like speed and multi-tasking!
3. My budget is about $800
4. anyone know where I can get some good sales since its memorial day weekend!

do you know any good websites with some already built and good pricing as I dono how to build one myself. I don't even know what components are compatible with each other for me to order.

I just bought an asus from best buy here is the link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-essentio-desktop-intel-core-i7-12gb-memory-2tb-hard-drive/3026586.p?id=1219086172072

but I figured if I build something myself I can save some $ for monitors and return this one.

I was also looking at the new NFC enabled Asus but it just came out and its hard to find one with a good graphics card as they run Nvidia gtx 645 but have a hybrid ssd and 1tb memory which is nice. This one I have from best buy doesn't have nfc as its older model but does have a gtx 760 but no SSD. will ssd make a big difference? Do you guys think that NFC model Asus is worth it? here is a link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1027022-REG/asus_m70ad_us003s_i7_4770_16gb_1tb_7200_gtx650_windows_8_1.html/prm/alsVwDtl

The ASUS one from Bestbuy you've bought is much better.
Even though it's overpriced and you could build one yourself for cheaper, it's still a decent computer none the less.

The 4th generation i7 processor on your prebuilt should supply you with the processing power you need, and the GTX 760 is very capable, incase you wanted to play games or whatnot.

Oh, and the NFC ASUS isn't worth it.

If you wanted to build your own computer, here's the best I could do for $800.

It features a pretty strong AMD processor, and a 280X, which is basically the 770 which is stronger than your 760.

Don't go with alienware, everything is overpriced.
I don't know if day-trading is a high intensity load on your CPU, but if it is going to be and you know you might want to dish out more.

If it's a decent or light load on your CPU, then you will be fine with what you have.
Your pre-build ASUS right now could be considered "top of the line" in some peoples eyes, more the CPU not the GPU though.

If you will be multitasking, buy a full 16gb ram kit.

No need for a fast gaming card, your screen images will be relatively static.

For conventional 1080P images, you can connect 3 using intel integrated graphics. A $50 discrete graphics card will add 2 more.

But... go to sears or compusa and look at the 50" seiki 4k monitor.
Just one display will hold all the charts you want.

for what you listed you want to do this is what i would get it would be much more powerful then the asus desktop you linked and priced the same other advatages you get for building yourself are that most parts have 3+ warranty as oopose to 1 year warranty on a desktop.

Alienwares are pretty much overpriced... You can save A LOT of money by building your own.

P.S: You should teach me how to day trade!
