ok here is the deal. I plan on building my first desktop soon. I am purchasing just the basic parts to get the system running. I will be upgrading it later. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3POFA is my build so far. I'd like to save some money. I don't plan on upgrading the processor from what on the list. It'll probably surpass my needs. The whole purpose of this rig is playing games and editing pictures with photoshop. I'll also will be treating it as a media center. I have a older graphics card with 1gb ram that I can use in the mean time until i have the money to purchase a much better one. Also, I didn't choose a power supply because I have a 500 watt that should work until I buy my GPU. I choose the 9370 because of the speed and # of cores for the price im not sure if i could beat it. Is there any other way I can save? Also what are your thoughts on the case? I was originally looking at the thermaltake A31, but to cut corners i chose the cougar. i'm worried about overheating. I believe that was what killed my last desktop. Thanks for any thoughts and opinions!
