gaming on a hdtv instead of a monitor?

I currently have gtx 670 sli and I game on a 32" lcd tv through hdmi, would I get a better result if I switch to a good monitor ?

yes, Monitors have a much better viewing experience over T.V's. Your T.V. might be HD, so if you go for a FHD monitor, even better.

Samsung Series 5 FHD monitor;

Since you have a 32" T.V. I would suggest you go for a 27" Monitor, as you may not prefer 24" or smaller.

Great 27" Monitor by samsung, It has a PLS screen, much better then any TN screen when it comes to viewing experience. 60Hz.

so is a 1440p monitor the way to go then, will I get better sharper pictures and will it be okay for gtx 670 in sli many thanks!
