Seagate Backup Plus Slim, any good?

Hi, I'm considering buying a Seagate 1Tb Slim Plus external hard drive. I'm concerned about the durability and longevity of this hard drive. Is there any one here who has used this drive before and would recommend it?

Haven't used that particular model but I've had a few Seagate external hard drives over the past 10 years and they all failed within 2 years so I vowed never to buy another Seagate. I now have four WD externals, oldest one is still giving excellent service after 6 years.

Now, others will tell you quite the opposite to my experience, that's bound to happen since there's no such thing as a 100% reliable brand, but all I can tell you is what my experience was. And it wasn't just one drive from Seagate, it was all four that I had. All failed less than 2 years old.

Toshiba one I bought also failed, I think that was less than a year old.
