Computer shows wrong GPU

Hello internet, the last couple of days i noticited that my computer shows the wrong GPU.
I have a AMD HD 7970 GPU but my MSI Afterburner, Windows Display options and other programs show i have a R9 200 series GPU. When reinstalled my driver it still shows i have a R9 200 GPU. I'm 100% sure i installed the right driver on the AMD site.

R9 280x are indeed rebranded 7970's, but they do have diffrent drivers. That's like saying a GTX 680 is a rebranded GTX 770.
However ,when i remove all my drivers and my PC becomes "driver less", every program shows i have a HD 7900 series card.

By the way, it doesn't seem i have any performance issues. My games still run really smooth on max settings. It's just really weird it shows i have a diffrent GPU.
