My current PC specs:

AMD FX 6300
M5A99FX Pro R2.0
R9 270X
CM GXII 550W

I'm kinda' tired of this processor as It does not let my graphics card to perform completely. Need help to choose a better gaming intel processor with motherboard.

Update 1: I've seen youtube videos, where users have better gaming performance in r9 270x with intel processor. I've checked it in real time as well. Apparently, Intel is able to do things more desirable than AMD FX's.

Update 2: No plans on both Crossfire and Overclocking.

Do you plan on using Crossfire, or overclocking?

EDIT: are you planning on using Crossfire?

-> No plans on crossfire as I can see that a single R9 270X card performs very good (in my taste).

-> No plans on overclocking

I put this together (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12gjd) and it seems like it will be balanced, you won't need a beefy motherboard (since you aren't overclocking, or running a Crossfire or SLI setup), and a 4570 will last you a while, and will keep up with future graphics cards for a good while. The 4570 runs ALMOST the same as a 4670k, just no overclocking, and runs a little slower (won't be noticeable in games, though) http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4670K-vs-Intel-Co...

Nice. And I noticed that the mobo you've listed has crossfire support :) . Glad it's in my budget.

Yeah, it's a great motherboard for the price, and has upgradability options. For the price point, you can't beat it, so that's why I chose/recommend it.

Hey codenamehaswell, I found something. The motherboard you've listed costs about 123 USD in my region O_O!

Do you got any other list for motherboard?

Oh, wow. Here it's 85 USD. I'll look for another, or you can use CTurbo's recommendation. I'll update my recommendation in just a bit.

If you're willing to spend a bit more cash to keep the z87 chipset(if it's the same price where I live, lol) you can use this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z87pro3 or this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-b85pro4 older chipset, but you get to keep crossfire support. The b85 can only support up to 1600 MHz RAM, but those are the only downsides.

1. Satisfied with i5 4570 price point. No change in my decision when it comes to this thing.

2. Motherboards are really being expensive in my region (India).

So I will throw some links over here that suits my budget. Please suggest me the better one among these -

One: http://www.amazon.in/Intel-BOXDZ68DB-INTEL-DZ68DB-MOTHE...

Two: http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga-b75m-d3h-motherboar...

Three: http://www.ebay.in/itm/ASRock-Z87-Extreme4-32GB-DDR3-In... (This one is not in budget but will try to buy this soon)

Four: http://www.snapdeal.com/product/gigabyte-b85md3h-mother...

Number 3 is the best option, as I have the Asrock extreme3 Motherboard, and couldnt be happier, but if you want to settle for less, I'm going to have to go with One.

The H81 chipset is a budget option, but it's a good motherboard, I still strongly recommend the z87 you stated earlier. You aren't looking for features (if i'm not mistaken), so if you want, the h81 is a great option, since you can't overclock, nor do you want to crossfire. It's up to you.

Neither the processor nor motherboard is available in my region, sadly :"(
I will be upgrading the system by next week.

So I welcome few more lists in this thread so that I can make sure I pay premium for performance.

Do you got any ideas to get Z87 chipset motherboard which would fit into my budget?

The Z87 motherboard is NOT the new updated one. That would be the Z97, but you don't need either. If you are going to get the i5 4570, which is very good, I recommend ANY B85 or H87 motherboard.

Yes the Z97 did just come out. Making it the newest most updated chipset. The Z87 is a year old.

Here is the "best solution" answer

Thanks CTurbo. I am going to get the budget B85 motherboard. And what about the PSU? can I stay with this 550w?
