I ended up buying some RAM for a PC build I will be doing soon,
its the G.skill 8GB DDR3 2133Mhz RipjawsX f3-17000cl11d-8gbxl
THe motherboard I am thinking of getting is ASRock FM2A88X Extreme4+
However this RAM does not appear on the QVL of this motherboard, though the motherboard site does say it will support DDR3 RAM 2133 and also intel XMP profiles. . Is it safe to still buy this motherboard, or should I buy a motherboard that will house this RAM? I really want to go for a AMD APU, hence a A88X amd board is what I am after. . any alternatives to this ASRock?
will my RAM be compatible with that Board? has anyone tried them together?
There is however a Gigabyte board that has this RAM on the QVL which is Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H BUt I have never bought Gigabyte before, and wanted an ATX size board instead, for future expansions I plan to add over PCI slots,
