So, I want a laptop for school, and I have a budget of around £150. I would also be ok with something like the Mac Mini. Also, would anybody know if I would be able to connect the Mac Mini to my TV? What ports are on the Mini? On my TV I only have HDMI, Scart and RCA. Thanks

UPDATE
Also I would prefer, if going for a laptop, to have Windows 7.

UPDATE
Also a decent sized, good spec notebook would be fine.

You won't get any new laptop for £150, and certainly not a Mac Mini (cheapest model £500).

Your best bet with only £150 to spend is second hand stuff on Ebay, but check customer feedback before buying anything.

You can also get second hand laptops from online vendors which may be a safer option.

Lol I know you can't get a new laptop for £150. XD that's funny. No I mean, I saw a Mac Mini On eBay (I think it's still on there too) for £170ish. It just wasn't needed any more because the owner upgraded. It's in great nick.

No I mean on eBay, or at least second hand. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on good laptop makes. Like my bro has a Dell Inspiron (don't know which one) and he loves it. It's jammed with Windows 7 glory and the best processors you've ever seen. For instance, I'm not planning on getting a Compaq any time soon because they're notoriously troublesome. Nor do I want Windows 8 or .1 because they're complete crap on laptops.

Online vendors? What the heck are they? Isn't that just Amazon? :-/ dunno

Thanks
