CrossFireX with 2 Card

Hi, I made this system (I5 3570k OC'd to 4.4 ghz, Gigabyte Z77 D3H, 8gb 1600mhz RAM, Seagate ST1000DX001 1TB Hybrid Drive, Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X Boost OC 2GB Graphics Card) with the view to CrossFireX in the future, now that time has come, but the card I want to buy is another R9 270X, but its a MSI R9 270X, and I already have a Sapphire R9 270X, so can I crossfire these guys, or do I have to get another sapphire, because I want the MSI because it has 4GB Memory on it, which will be useful for more heavy duty games. I have the PSU to support it by the way :)

The difference in video memory really doesn't make any difference in performance unless you're running on a huge resolution or across several monitors.

Your best bet would be to get another of the same card and crossfire that. Your system will look better and has a much higher chance of just working.
  2. Yeah, I am using 3 monitors right now... That was the main reason I was going for some more memory. Thank you good sir :'D

I have actually built this myself and I can confirm it does work :)
