Will it run 2400Mhz ram?

So i'm getting new pc and new ram aswell with it. and will the mobo
msi z87-g45
Be able to run these ram
Kingston HyperX beast DDR3-2400MHz dc 16GB.
Will that mother board be able to run them?.

yes, but only if paired with an unlocked (k) cpu to run at such speeds.

well there is a chance you will have to, but whats the point of getting 4770k afterall? to be more specific, even if you had to o/c ,you wont need to break any records!, a 4.2ghz will do just fine!

mine works like a charm. generally for up to 4.4ghz it will suffice!make sure you get the newer(2013) h60 version

I'd look at the Z97 mobos, give's you an upgrade path CPU wise, prob in that price range the Z97-A from Asus, better cooling, OCing, handles high speed DRAM, etc....
