Hi all,
I was trying to install windows 7 from usb but the pc doesn't boot from the usb and gives the error "Reboot and select proper media device... ". I am able to boot from the same usb on my laptop and I have tried many different usb's but none seem to work giving the same error everytime. Tried forcing the usb to be detected as hdd, dvd drive etc. but to no avail. I am using biostart TA990FXE mobo. Need to boot from usb as I don't have any dvd drive. The usb appears in the boot menu so it is detecting it but somehow not able to boot from it. I tried booting windows 8 as well as Ubuntu but facing the same issue.
