Hi! I'm using a NEO netbook, and i'm running windows 7 32-bit. Since it's a bit old, the battery doesn't work anymore, and I use it only when plugged in. Yesterday, while using it, a sudden blackout occurred, causing it to forced shut down. When the power came back, I turned it on, and I experienced this problem on being stuck at the Welcome screen. It didn't hang, because the loading icon kept going on. I turned it off again and tried safe mode, but the same happened.
Today, I tried turning it on again, and the issue still went on, though when I waited for about 20 minutes, it finally started. But then, the desktop was cleaned and all unnecessary files disappeared. Although, when I clicked my documents and clicked on the desktop tab, I found out that my files were there and were just hidden on the desktop screen. My drive size was also still at 9.2gb free out of of 72gb so I doubt my files were really gone.
Another thing is, all the programs were reset. Like in Google Chrome, all my bookmarks and saved accounts disappeared. When I shut it down and turned on again, the problem still occurred.
I have no idea what happened. So, does anyone know how to solve this problem? Help me please. Thank you!
