PC randomly turns off, while playing games

Okay. So a few weeks back I started to play Red Faction, and while playing my PC shut down for the first time, so I figured the power went down in my house, I turn it on again, re-entered the game and a few minutes later it happened again, so I deleted the game, but after that every game i played(Mass Effect 2,3, Gothic 3), the same happened, so I thought that the problem is that the games are to big or something, because when I played NBA2k14 and Fifa Manager 14, this never happened, but yesterday while I was playing those games it did. Now when I press the turn on button, it starts to run turning on for a few seconds and shuts down, and I have to press it like 4-5 times before the PC starts. Can anyone help me with this please.

From what I can read in your description, your psu seems to be giving up. How old is your PC and what are your specs?

AMD A4-3300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics(2.5GHz), 4 GB ram, AMD HD 6410D, I use a 64 bit Win7. It's maybe 2 or 2,5 years old.

What PSU do you have? Or if its a branded PC eg a Dell or Hp what model is it?

I am not sure, because I got it second hand. Is there a way to check it?

Open up your PC and look at it. Then write whats on it. So its not a brand PC like a Dell or HP?

No, it's not. I happened to day again, and now at the start up it said that there is a problem with starting up the hard drive. And then I opened the automatic start up repair and it couldn't be finished, so I don't think it's a problems with the PSU.

Try booting from a linux live CD or a different harddrive or usb stick if you can, and disconnect the harddrive that may be malfuntioning

Okay, I will do that, and see what happens, if it does't work, I guess I will have to take it into a workshop or something.

If you can boot from a linux cd or a different drive in general, you may only need to get a new harddrive and put windows onto it ;)
