Hi, im gonna build a pc, but because of the launch of the new motherboards h97 I don't know what to choose I was looking for the asus h97-pro, but I asked myself if it worth spend more money on the h97-pro.(I want to keep the build cheapest as possible)
So instead of buying the asus h97-pro, should i buy the cheapest one the asus h97m-E. Im also considering the asus h97m-plus and the asus h97-plus. So what do you think it will be better for me considering my build and that im not gonna do overclock.
And is there any disadvantage on a mATX for me, considering my build? And if I choose a mATX mb do you advice me to use an mATX case or an ATX mid tower?
I was looking for these:
mATX - CoolerMaster Silencio 352
ATX - Corsair carbide 200r

The coolermaster is 5€ cheaper. I saw that the coolermaster as like a sponge for noise isolation is it bad for cooling considering that im not gonna buy any cooling system and use only the two fans that come with the case

BUILD:
- Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II
- Intel i5 4690 3.5 GHz
- RAM: 2x4
- one HDD
- and maybe in the future a SSD
- and an optical drive

Im from Portugal so im gonna leave here a price list:
- Asus H97-pro - (106€)
- Asus H97m-plus - (95€)
- Asus H97-plus - (97€)
- Asus H97m-E - (85€)

Thank you

Hi there,
Most ATX cases support MATX motherboards and have the correct screws.
I'm presuming your CPU doesn't overclock because of the H97 Chipset.
Between the motherboards there's not going to be too much of a difference.
Choose the one that best suits your budget.
Hope this helps!

There isn't much difference between those Asus H97 motherboards. The only main differences are some extra PCI slots with the ATX boards and some ASUS features. For a few extra dollars I would go with the H97-Pro if you need those extra slots.

I am about to do a build (no overclocking) with an i5-4570 and picked the Asus H97-Pro as my motherboard. It is the perfect board for what I want to do. It has all the features I want and none that I don't need such as ability to overclock. However, that board is not available anywhere in North America so I either have to move down and lose some features or move up to a Z97-A for all those features and not use the overclocking.

ok thank you I will probably choose the Asus h97-pro but im not sure yet. And does the h87m-e has enough PCI slots for my build?
Do you think that choosing the coolermaster case I will may have refrigeration problems ?

ok thank you I will probably choose the H97m-plus. But do you advice me to choose a mATX case (coolermaster silencio 352) or an ATX case (corsair carbide 200r) ?
