I am using Asus K50IJ, a bit old lap top, so I need a little help.
I want to change dedicated video memory if it's possible. But, there are things that stop me.
First, I cannot change it in BIOS, so I was wondering, is that because my model of motherboard does not support that kind of thing, or I have to somehow update it (I didn't find any update newer than mine for BIOS)?
Or if it's impossible that way, can I change dedicated video memory WITHOUT BIOS (my Intel GMA driver also doesn't have this option)?

If none of those 2 would work out, is there ANY way to change it? It's currently only 64MB. I know that it automatically increases when needed, but I want to change it manually.

Thanks for your time.

Solution
you cannot change dedicated video memory as that is physical memory chips for the video card only(the only way to change is to add more physical memory to the video card and well that hasn't been in option to do in years).

now shared memory can be changed on some systems(shared means your normal ram is used for your programs and your video card hence "shared".)
