Hello everyone ,I have random BSOD like I was saying in a previous thread one month before: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2121534/random-bsod.html.(please read it)

Two days before I just had another BSOD here is the info about it.

As you see to the previous thread I was told that it might be a PSU problem, I have not changed it yet. The only hardware change that I did, was that I change my CPU from 4670k to 4770k(I know what you might thinking but I sell the 4670k at a very good price!).

Now I have a totally different problem ... my date and time both windows and bios change randomly to 01/01/1900!
I have to restart several times and to force windows to update through internet time to solve this, at least until the next time.
This has happened 3-4 times in the past 4 days! I did my research and I change my mobo battery (same type of battery not touching it with bear hands)so there is no battery issue.
Also no virus threat I have rescan several times my pc with internet norton security 2014 with no threat.
please dear experts tell what you think it might be.

I guess that everything shows me that my PSU I failing....tell me your opinions. Might be my mobo???
Also I would like to mention that there is no dust issue in my pc and no heat ,I use CPUID HWMonitor and everything is under normal heat levels.
Nothing is overclocked!

Thank you in advance!

Solution

well cant think of anything else. you must try another psu. though if still insists i would blame the mobo! please ensure battery is properly inserted.if yes maybe its worn off! ive never encountered such problem!

if your mobo cannot keep time, even in bios you need a battery replacement. wierd though for 1year old mobo.
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-1893016/post-system-boot-video-output-troubleshooting-checklist.html
read this and ensure all steps are made properly.
run a http://www.memtest.org/ and lastly check voltages in bios if they are within acceptable range.

your psu isnt the best out there but it is more than enough for your setup! there is a chance it is a software problem afterall

yes sorry,i would try a bios update. a wrong time in bios cant be a software issue. make sure you dont have any shorting out of any kind and ensure you have power plugs grounded.if all fail you must try another psu!

My friend the battery is properly inserted! Monday I will test my psu (is under warranty till 2015).If the psu is faulty (I hope to after all this) then is the easy way cause if it's he mobo then it's a lot of work that needs to be done! Thank you very much for your time and your opinions take care.

Well I have a new info....I just run novabench and the results are the same except the gpu...has the half frame rates :
Graphics Tests (Score: 359)
- 3D Frames Per Second: 1014 instead of :
Graphics Tests (Score: 761)
- 3D Frames Per Second: 2018! (10 days before)
I guess that under those results the problem is the psu! I checked the connections again and i changed the cables...what's your opinions?
Also i have see that the time and date changes after gaming for some hours.

while under any gpu benchmark have gpuz running. after it finishes you can check on sensors tab the gpu load after ckling inside the % box to get the max usage. it sould be constantly over 97%. also try http://unigine.com/products/heaven/ . you can also try http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/ for gpu stability.

Once again after this gpu intensive benchmarks the time and date changed...At novabench still the half frames.Though the gpu load was 99% while testing i wonder if the psu gives the right voltages..
PSU i guess

also ensure that the gpu is running at its rated(correct) specs(core and memory frequency), cpu also!
