as the title says, I installed a hyper 212 evo and ever since then my pc has randomly been rebooting. The temps seem fine, a lot lower than with the stock cooler, from 30+ idle to about 15 idle.. Any help is appreciated.

Erm.. are you trolling on purpose? It's neither a game nor a CPU - it's a rather popular CPU cooler.

To the OP
Are you sure you have it installed properly? That idle temp of 15 C seem very low if you are not playing sitting in a walk-in fridge or something you won't be able to get that kind of temp with an air cooler.

Make sure the heatsink is aligned properly and makes good contact with the CPU.

I'm not trolling on purpose!
Although I agree 15C is on the cool side. Maybe your battery cannot support such low temperatures, though I doubt it.

15C is very low actually. What is your room temperature? I think it is lower than 15C

Erm... che0063 no offense but I don't think you know what you are talking about... like... at all.

His battery not supporting such low temperatures? What battery? It's a PC, the only battery there would be the CMOS battery on the motherboard and it has nothing, and I mean NOTHING to do with low temperatures...

+1 for this megatroll. I like it lol.

@ OP: Mouldread has the point. Check if the cooler is properly seated/
Re-apply thermal paste if you think the cooler is fixed in the way it has to be.

honestly your pretty close to the limits of that psu and that motherboard lacks a heatsink on the vrm's which doesnt help but the 6300 is under the list of supported cpu's so I highly doubt its the vrm heating up. Do you have a higher wattage psu you can swap out and try? I think it starting after you installed the 212 is circumstantial. Did you take the motherboard out to install the 212?

nope my case has an opening in the other side to remove the backplate on the mount. I could get one from amazon and swap it out no problem to see if its causing the issue. Could it really just be a coincidence that it's happening after the new fan was installed? And what do the north bridge errors mean? Thanks for the help

okay so cpu-z says that my DRAM Frequency is 800.7
FSB:DRAM 1:4
CAS latency (CL) 11.0 clocks
RAS# to CAS# delay (tRCD) 11 clocks
RAS# precharge (tRP) 11 clocks
cycle time (tRAS) 28 clocks
Bank Cycle Time (tRC) 39 clocks

I have no idea what these mean or if they're correct, Sorry :/
