So i recently got myself a new EVGA gtx 750ti FTW, I have been needing a new card for a while, but did not realise how old some of my other components are. Anyhow I would like some help in selecting components for a pc build i am planning of doing. It has to work around my new card and I will be salvaging some parts from my old pc. The parts i will be salvaging are as followed: 64GB Samsung SSD, Seagate 1TB HDD, Optical Drive, Cooler master CPU cooler and MAYBE my zalman case. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated and feel free to go abit above/below budget. I would like to also add future proofing should also come into mind. Thanks -JTiGER

See if you can get something equivalent to this where you are:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor ($113.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-E33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($44.99 @ Micro Center)
Memory: G.Skill AEGIS 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($75.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Cougar Archon ATX Mid Tower Case ($39.99 @ Mwave)
Power Supply: SeaSonic 300W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($42.99 @ Mwave)
Total: $317.94
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

The i3 and 750ti are so efficient that they can run on a good 300W PSU.

Do you think I should maybe go for a i5 and a slightly higher psu? Or will there be a big bottleneck?

i5 would be fine. Extra CPU power never hurts. You select your GPU model by comparing your monitor's resolution and refresh rate to the games that you will play. A 750Ti should be plenty to play just about anything at 1080p on medium with low AA/AF.

I would move up to a good 400W PSU in that instance.
