hi guys i already created a thread stating weather my pc play watchdogs at medium setting and most said not/playable but lags a lot

older link to that thread
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2141419/play-watch-dogs-medium-minimal-graphical-settings-c2d.html

specs are
core 2 duo E7400 @ 2.8ghz
intel dg35ec motherboard
6 GB ram
zotac 660 synergy edition(OC) and windows 8.1
monitor res 1366*768

in battlefield 4 i get 25 ~ 30 fps at ultra( maxed including AA) (with little shatter/lag)

i have no money to update everything now but definitely in 2 - 3 years so i am thinking of updating my processor only, from E7400(c2d)(2.8ghz) to q9550(c2q)(2.83ghz) which is quiet cheat in market

is this update is worth????
can it last long for atleast 1 - 2 years like for games like fc4 , gta 5 at mid /high settings at 30fps???

thanks

UPDATE :
no guys i am not getting a new one, i am getting from a guy for 5k (~85$).does it worth getting?????

He is right. Get a new socket 1150 and dont upgrade the LGA775. The only reason I went from an e6600 to a q6600 is because it was free. But even then the power draw and the ipc performance is not even close to what it is like these days.
