I am thinking of getting a 1080p monitor. What are the things that I should pay attention to when I pick one? Its just for my PC, so I dont really need any extra functions.

I would also look at the response time... e.g. 2ms (the lower the better)
and possibly the refresh rate e.g. 60Hz / 120 Hz / 144 Hz
60 is the most common and the cheapest. you wouldn't benefit too much from higher refresh rates unless you have a decent PC.

The ports: make sure it has an HDMI port or a DVI port.

Design: You will be looking at it for long periods of time, so why not make it look nice?

That's all I think of when I buy monitors. I hope this helps!

Is there any difference between the screens though?
I know for my cell phone, my Z Ultra screen looked completely different from my friend's Samsung Galaxy displaying the same picture.
Also picture on my laptop screen looked more washed out than my older computer monitor.
I assume it has something to do with the screen type?

No matter what your game, consider saving-yo-pennies for a ZZZx1440.
