I've been putting together a build for a budget gaming rig over the past couple of days and I think I've got it mostly sorted out, but would like some input on possible compatibility issues or if I should opt for something different.
This will be a primarily gaming PC for games like Counter Strike: GO, SC2 and Eve Online, nothing too demanding.

I will be buying everything from TigerDirect since I can pick it all up from my local store and forgo the shipping cost. I will buy the RAM from newegg.ca

Some Questions:
1. Does the i3 require a separate cooler, or will the stock cooler be sufficient for moderate gaming?
2. Will my 4 year-old Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste still be ok to use? It's been tightly sealed since I first used it.

I would like to keep the price below $600 CAD. For the time being, I will be keeping my existing PSU and GPU and at some point I would like to get an SSD.

Existing Hardware:
GPU: PowerColor 1GB Radeon HD 5750 1GB
PSU: OCZ Fatal1ty 550W Modular Gaming Power Supply

New Hardware:
Case: Corsair Carbide Series 200R ATX Mid Tower
Mobo: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z87
CPU: Intel Core i3-4130 Haswell 3.4GHz LGA 1150
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
HDD: Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB
Optical: ASUS 24X DVD Burner

Total: $567.07 CAD

Any input is appreciated, thanks =)
