Ok, I may have a slightly complicated problem so I would ask you to bear with me please.
I'm building a PC at the moment, and I seem to have observed several sites that sell just the official product keys without the disks. It should be noted that they're almost on average around 50 euro (About 70 dollars) cheaper than getting the disked version of windows. I'm wondering, in simple language, is there a legal way to download windows 8 to a USB key/installation media so that I can boot it from a USB, enter the key and then get installing? As a student a while back, we used to be able to do just that with windows 7 and enter the product key that was on their laptop. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to PC hardware and so forth, however, this is one area I know very little about. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could give me a word of advice on the issue on where maybe I could download the file or if it is even possible. Thank you for your time!
