I built a new system with windows 8. an Intel series 335 240 GB SSD,and an M5A99FX Asus
Motherboard . Ialso have an Fx 9590 Cpu for what it is worth. I updated Wndows 8 to 8.1. Everthing was fine for a good while. Then My sytem started to boot and stop at the windows logo
Then go Black for 2-3 minutes the restart and boot in to windows normally. I updated the bios to the latest version. That did nothing. I reset the bios defaults. Still the same problem. I have since
reloaded windows. Made sure ahci was enabled. Everything worked for a while. Then the boot problem started again. P.S. When it Hangs if I shut off the computer it will then boot normal when I
restart. The problem only happens on a cold start.

this is a solved problem Thanks to 'I7 Baby". Her directed me to check all connections which I knew I should have done but didn't. So I did. No change. But since I was at that point I decide to swap the OEM cable for one I knew was of better Quality. Swaped the Cable and BOOM! Problem Solved.
