So, the other day I purchased a headset called the Trittion 720+. I have a Z77 Pro 3 and I was wondering if there was any way to get 5.1 Digital Audio? I know there is Dolby Digital, but I'm not sure if its comparable with the on-board sound card. Is there any way to get Dolby Digital without purchasing an external sound card?

you need to get an external sound card. I would look into getting a Creative X-FI surround 5.1 PRO USB, great sound card for a pretty good price, also has THX True Studio PRO.
