problem installing sub 3.0 header on msi mobo

Hello,
I cant seem to connect the usb 3.0 header from rv04 case to msi z87 g45 gaming motherboard. it wont go in. did I bend the port?

Double check the mobo manual to make sure you're trying to connect it to the right port. The same usb 3.0 connectors are used universally. They should all fit.

yes it is the correct port. does it support the usb 3.0 x2 connector from the case?

nvm, found out that the port was bent. fixed it with a pair of tweezers. :p

Yes - the each connector supports 2 x usb ports.

I gather the mobo manual does say it is a usb port and th e case says it is the usb 3.0 lead. The photo looks like they are. You might have to support the mobo connector while pushing in the case plug. You might even have to trim a bit off the case plug to make it easier to fit. Shouldn't have to but who knows with made in China stuff.
