Hey everyone,

Recently I had to re-install Windows because of an issue I couldn't fix. Before this Minecraft would run fine on any drivers version other than Mantle (version 14.x). I forget exactly what version I was on before I had to re-install, but I think it was 13.12. After I re-installed Windows and all of my programs, Minecraft crashes a lot on any version. I tried the drivers my GPU came with a year ago (12.x, forget exact version) and that didn't work. I tried the latest non-mantle version, 13.12, and same issue. I have also tried 14.4 and again it doesn't work.

When not using Mantle, I can usually log onto a server for 0 seconds to a minute. What will either happen is the game just closes down, or it'll freeze and have an opaque white screen, but everything in the game still goes on (chat keeps going, people move, etc.). Sometimes it won't recover from this and I'm forced to close the game and try again.

When using Mantle, my game automatically shuts down as soon as I connect to a server. That's all that happens with Mantle.

I know for sure it's the drivers that is causing this, and I don't know what the issue is with them. Any help regarding this is greatly appreciated, as I mainly use my PC for Minecraft.

Here's all relevant specs:

AMD FX 8350 @ 4.0 GHz
XFX Radeon HD 7850 1GB
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
Kingston HyperX Red 8GB 1600 MHz
