Which one is more safer to buy ? [Please HELP]

Okay I am going for a second hand card (Used card)..
I have told the dealer to check me the availability of these cards (used ) :
GTX 660
HD 7850
HD 7870
HD 7950
R9 270X or Non X
The Brand will be MSi or ASUS or Gigabyte or XFX or EVGA (No Inno3D - Club3D)
So Guys I am Asking you , Which one should I go for regarding safety , so that it doesn't toast the first day , Nvidia or AMD? Which one is more durable?
The dealer will only give me check-warranty , Once I bring it home , It's mine...
I will be doing G3D Mark and Temp test on the card in the shop to see the card is working well , then I bring it home.
I can go for any of the above.
Please DO ANSWER MY QUESTION.

The GTX 660 and the R9 270X are very comparable cards, and the R9 270 X is less expensive.

All the graphics cards listed are good and if you test the cards in the store they will work fine in your computer at home.

One thing to keep in mind is that these are electronic products and electronics can go bad at any time. That is why new electronics products have warranties. Some of them do fail. When? It is anybody's guess.

Thanks for the assist , By the way , shouldn't I go for R9 270X and/or GTX 660 , as they are new compared to the others?
