i am wondering because there are many articles and websites that explain dmz differently but what it seems is that dmz put the specified ip outside the firewall thus allowing all ports. Now I have read that whats in the dmz all traffic in and out of router goes through there now could that extra traffic slow down that device thats in the dmz.
and am I right in saying that port forwarding has priority over dmz right but my real question is does traffic increase to the device thats in the dmz and will it slow it down.
