good day ,im still new here
i have this problem that my newer gtx 650ti boost wont display anything but i can hear the chimes of windows 7 while my older gt 430 could do the display with the latest drivers on too
i tried a clean uninstall of the drivers but still no luck :(
connected the vga securely, seated the gpu properly, reset the bios, still no display on gtx 650ti boost but no problems on gt430 , could be my gtx650 ti boost broken?

system specs here:

MOBO: gigabyte ga g41 combo
CPU: intel e5300 (overclocked to 3.6ghz)
RAM: 2gb (single)
PSU : 500watts

Solution
And they are in fact pci express cables? Because the cpu connector to the motherboard has a 4 pin connection that is identical and some psu makers are very lazy in clearly labelling them. As well have you tried another pci express slot (if you have another)? As well could you get the exact model of 500 w psu that is in there? The 650 ti boost uses a bit more power but only about 2 amps more. The power provided on the 12v rail is what you are looking for.
GeForce GT 430 - 22A and a 350W PSU minimum
Geforce GTX 650ti Boost - 24A and a 450W PSU minimum
