What should I do.. Would my PSU hold up with this card for now?

Okay so with a $100 max budget and currently a 300w stock PSU with only 15a on the 12v rail, what should I do these are my options I'm thinking of. Either go 50/50 and get a cheap budget card and a better PSU for now for awhile.. Or I could get a Radeon HD 6670 2GB.
This: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/xfx-xfx-amd-radeon-hd-6670-2gb-gddr3-pci-e-video-card-hd667xclf3/10270151.aspx?path=81df2f4e63e52d26ba1bc1d6999e39a7en02
But would my PSU be able to handle that/not bottle neck too hard? Or should I just go the slow safe route and get a budget card for now and a better PSU like the Antec VP-450 I`m looking at right now. For a budget card for now it`s going to come down to either the GT 610 or the HD 6450.

Come to think of it would my Pentium D 945 3.4 GHZ even work well at all with the 6670? Any other suggestions? If it came down to one of the budget cards which would should I get, GT 610 or the HD 6450?

HI anonym31
The Radeon HD 6670 will require 17A on the 12v rail and a 400W PSU minimum so a better PSU will be required
The GeForce GT 610 will require 16A on the 12v rail and a 300W PSU minimum so you will be maybee a just with that too
I would suggest you get a 500watt PSU , that will give you some headroom from
seasonic/xfx (also seasonic ) or any PSU from the corsair TX ,HX or AX range

Edit: i would get the PSU first then save for good rather than cheap low end GPU

Thanks micky. But I do wish to get a card for now I will upgrade later on if I just get a new PSU and a cheap card. I want to know if I go that route though which would be better for now, the HD 6450 or the GT 610?

@swifty Yeah I just want to be sure of things, I don't want to break anything lol If I were just to buy the 6670 and see if it works.. I'm sure it could, but I don't know for how long with this cheap OEM PSU.

Well it's just that this is a stock oem power supply and it's pretty crappy.. If I get the 6670 I'll still get a new PSU later on, but with the low amount of 15a on the 12v rail that I don't even know if this thing truly puts out, I wouldn't want to risk the PSU failing and possibly breaking things, or just really bottle necking the card anyway. But if I hear that it's really okay since 6670 isn't that hard on power I just might consider getting it. I'm going to be ordering something by tonight anyway. Just trying to make a decision..

@ swifty_morgan
I threw no scare , just stated the facts as they are , anonym31 asked for advice
if you are going to recommend he run a gpu that requires 17A on the 12v rail and a 400W PSU minimum on a 300w PSU on a15A rail plus power his CPU and any peripherals then i believe this is poor advice
He would have a better chance running the 610

@ anonym31
you could get the 610 but it is not a very good card for gaming
an extremely low end card

The HD6450 is a better card , you could at least run most games at low settings on that card

at the end of the day , it is your call ,your money ,
IMHO you would be better off getting a quality PSU and saving for a better card

I'm getting a new better quality PSU and for now a cheap card, later on I will get a better card as I will already have a better PSU for one anyway. Just spending what I have for now until the next time I have money.

From my research it seems double sided on which is better, the GT 610 or the HD 6450. Everyone saying different.. But the GT 610 from my research might seem to be a little bit better for some things. Now I'm trying to choose between these two brands of it lol

MSI: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B008D1JKDQ/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB

or

ZOTAC: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0088PVBZC/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB

I know the 2GB wouldn't really matter on these low end cards, I'm thinking of going with MSI but I'm trying to find all the specs of each and compare any differences..

Thanks for that, the ZOTAC has the shader clock spec 1620 MHz though and the MSI isn't showing anything about that, wish I could see to compare or if it'd even matter anyway.

Edit: Or it's just one of the memory clock numbers shown.. Not sure how to read this stuff, newbie me.
