Hello, I am having such a weird problem here.
Last week I posted a threat to ask my about my system temp, and a guy told me it was fine.
This my my old post: here

Today, I just change my Graphic card from GTX 750 Ti to GTX 660 (because 750 Ti has no SLI option, which I will need in near future). Also, I added 2 more RAM sticks, 4gb each.

Now: CPU temp down to 33-35; GTX temp REALLY REALLY high : 60-63
I still play same games, same setting. why the GTX 660 temp is so bad? My laptop has 640M and even give 60-65 (of course lower setting), but it's a laptop :((

Thanks so much for help bros.

Temperatures of less than 70 are great. Don't feel bad. I have an R9 270X which is faster than your card and draws more heat and it never goes above 65 degrees. When the temperatures are 80 degrees then you should be worrying (with a few, single exceptions).

thanks for fast rep.
I also notice that the 750 Ti fans spin much faster than the two on 660. 1800 on 750 Ti and 1200 on 660.
But why the 660 temp is so higher than the 750 Ti? is the Ti ver has better fans ?

one thing which is so weird is the CPU temp went down around 2-3 degrees @@

Fan speed ranges between different GPUs. They all have different speeds. Some fans are more efficient than others. Variation of 2-3 degrees for a CPU is absolutely nothing to worry about. My CPU gets as low as 14 degrees and can range from 52-57 degrees. They are all safe temperatures. Your GPU should have no effect on CPU temperatures. The CPU has its own fan and, like I said, variations of 2-3 degrees are normal.

yeah, I know that CPU and GPU temp are completely separated from each other. and CPU temp went down 3 degrees is nothing to say.
But the GPU temp increased from 40-45 (on 750Ti before) to 60-65 (on 660 now) :((

As long as it's below 80 degrees (with a few, singled out exceptions) then it's fine. Below 70 degrees is perfect. I even overclocked my GPU.

Some graphics cards require more wattage. For example, one card might require 50W and another would require 170W. More wattage is increased heat, but as long as temperatures are under 80 degrees it's fine.
